Hvilke lade-nettverk fungerer egentlig?
En 350 kW lader som ikke starter en økt er tregere enn en 50 kW som gjør det. Pålitelighet, ikke kraft, skiller nettverkene.
Hva går egentlig galt
Forskning på brukeropplevelse ved offentlig lading [2] og ladingsatferd [1] finner det samme mønsteret som enhver elbil-eier vil gjenkjenne: problemene handler sjelden om hvor raskt laderen er. De handler om hvorvidt økten starter i det hele tatt.
- Betalings- eller autentiseringsfeil. Kortet gjenkjennes ikke, appen kan ikke nå backend, økten vil ikke starte.
- Opptatt men ikke ladende. En ferdig bil som står tilkoblet, som er grunnen til at idle-gebyrer eksisterer.
- Defekt og ikke rapportert. En enhet viser tilgjengelig i appen og er ikke det.
- Kø uten system. Ingen formell kø ved de fleste steder, noe som blir et sosialt problem i travle tider.
- Kraftdeling. To biler på et delt skap får hver sin halvdel, noe appen sjelden informerer deg om på forhånd.
Ladepålitelighet og brukeropplevelse
Hvordan vurdere et nettverk

| Betalingsalternativer | Aksept av kontaktløse bankkort er den beste enkeltfaktoren for at en økt starter. |
| Nøyaktighet av sanntidstilgjengelighet | Et nettverk hvis app er feil er verre enn et uten app. |
| Plassering | Belyst, bemannet, med fasiliteter. Betyr enormt mye om natten og med barn. |
| Toppkraft | Reell, og den minst diskriminerende faktoren mellom mainstream-nettverk. |
Kryssing av grenser
